Construction of Civil Structures

SPEC offers complete on-site civil services as well as concrete rehabilitation services. We also specialize in building new reinforced concrete structures related to the water industry where labour intensive methods are used in most instances.

Services include:

1.  Construction of new structures include:

• Generator & control rooms
• Installation of gabions (all types)
• Closing of open canals, with pre-cast concrete slabs.
• Building of the following reinforced concrete structure, i.e.:

     o  Valve- & flowmeter chambers

     o  Building & extensions of weirs (in rivers)

     o  Sumps (pumping and other types)

     o  Concrete floors

     o  Pre-cast concrete slabs (to cover valve chambers), including                          manholes with ventilators

2.  Building “other” types of structures :

• Paved access roads (at Dams, WTW & WWTW)
• Small repairs to asphalt roads (at Dams, WTW & WWTW)
• Building small dams/ponds (lei dams & backwash ponds)
• Pipe installations (various types, like steel, PVC, HDPE etc)
• Siphon installations

3.  Repair of civil structures:

• Canal repairs (water)
• All of the above structures
