SPEC Hardware (Pty) Ltd opened its doors in July 2016 and renders services to the industrial market as well as the public for DIY to construction hardware needs.

On 17 February 2019 SPEC Hardware (Pty) Ltd became the exclusive distributor of Chesterton Products for the areas of Eastern Cape and Western Cape and Zimbabwe since 1 January 2022. SPEC Hardware maintain complete inventory of Chesterton Products and also employs full-time knowledgeable Chesterton Specialists who are trained in the technical aspects of the business and in troubleshooting.

Company History :

SPEC Hardware started trading in Port Elizabeth on July 2016 to supply the industrial & construction market in the Despatch, Redhouse and Perseverance areas. Since 2016 SPEC Hardware has expanded and has broadened its area of service as well as products. On 1 March 2019 Spec Hardware opened a branch in Cape Town to supply and service clients in the Western Cape.

Our goal is to supply quality services and products to the market.  The Group commits itself to ensuring that it trains and promotes the previously disadvantaged that shows interest in the firm’s fields of operation. SPEC GROUP further provides Enterprise Development services to external beneficiary enterprises for the purpose of financial, operational and/or developmental sustainability.
